It's a good one to follow if you are still going in the right direction. What if you find yourself running in someone else's race?
Can you change directions?
Here are three ways to know that you are following the right directions:
1. You don't have the need or desire to compare what you do with what anyone else is doing.
2. You understand that you can't get a different result by doing the same thing over and over again. You have given yourself new directions based on the results you want.
3. You have a clear idea (or at least a general one) of what the finish line looks like for you.
Every step you take brings you closer to that vision.
When you know where you want to go, it's harder to get lost.
